Independants can be good

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

Our domain Games Tables . co.uk utilises independant merchant MadFun.co.uk . The reason for this blog entry is to assure other affiliates that there are good independent merchants managing their own affiliate programs quite successfully. Steve Madkins is the principle behind MadFun.co.uk , the support he gives his affiliates is second to none, equaling the support given by many networks and surpassing the support given by many I could mention. The great thing about Steve is his enthusiasm for his business, he knows if his affiliates are happy and making money, so is he. I’m sure we all agree, making money is what affiliate marketing is all about.

For Trampolines, Playcentres, Snooker, Pool, Air Hockey Tables, Above Ground Swimming Pools,

Go Karts, and loads more fun things, sign up with MadFun and reap the benefits, oh if only there were

a second tier on his commission rates, we can’t have everything perfect.

Affiliate Marketing Works

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

It just takes time, Nine years for us, but nothing good comes quickly.

Well, not always true. This afternoon was partly spent adding sites to Wabbit, somthing we do on a regular basis.

One such site Bean Bag Bazaar I had just come across on Paid On Results a network I have not used a great deal, they will get more attention in future, here’s why. Within literally minuits we had a £91 sale, thank you annonymouse purchaser.

What I have always liked about POR is they support second tier affiliates, which encourages me to entice you to JOIN POR , so there we go, blatant marketing in search of that fi

Affiliates program now on sendchocs.com

Affiliate with us—We have teamed up with Trienta to provide our affiliates with trusted third party tracking and realtime reporting.

Fathers Day Update, Chocolate Flowerpot now available.

Our new site is Send Chocs .com and we are justifiably proud of it. Handmade English Chocolates, Wine, Champagne and lots of other goodies are there. You can send them to yourself or anyone in the UK via our secure shop.

Cooks of Swanton (now owned by Nick and Lynne Ratcliffe) are our suppliers and we hope to assist them with a steady growth of their business.

We are going to promote Send Chocs as a brand, so domains that will be utilised include sendchocs.com, sendchocs.co.uk, send-chocs.com and send-chocs.co.uk– our domain Chocolates Direct is currently a standalone site featuring amongst others Leonidas Belgian Chocolate, Chocolate Trading Co, Cadbury Gifts Direct and Thorntons; all these have affiliate programs. oh, we also have www.handmadeenglishchocolates.co.uk

After final testing, we will ask Profitistic to run our affiliates program, they already handle our 4inkjets.co.uk campaign, email Dave Bird he is very helpful.

Pilates

Having just returned form Pilates with Kate Mcconnon, I thought Kate deserved a blog entry.

We all have our own reasons for going to class, not many go for a pure social event and most of us have been referred in one way or another. Although her website is in its early days, I have suggested Kate have links to her favourite Pilates MusicExcercise Videos and Books plus all the Equipment you could ever want. These last three links are not endorsed by Kate but are examples of how Affiliate Marketing can be intergrated into almost any website. I agree that Affiliations is not be a get rich quick scheme, the few percent earned from each completed sale may eventually allow the installation of a sparkly ceiling , yes, another affilation link. So, let’s not miss out on silent sales.

Some of my favourite subjects

Monday, March 24th, 2008

I know it’s not all about me, but I do enjoy writing about things I like.

So, it should be no surprise to read here about Wine and Affiliate Marketing in the same entry.

Let me explain, It’s no secret that I have often registered domains without any real idea what to do with them. That way www.mywinelist.co.uk came to be and for many moons it simply pointed to www.shops-mart.co.uk’s food and drink section.  I’ve now added a category for Wine and Vineyards, to which I will add links to the Vineyards that supply wines that I enjoy and, where I can, links to places to purchase the featured wines—this will be fun for me.

The above will be all the more enjoyable, if I can find decent wine suppliers with their own affiliate program in place, then a few pennies will come our way every time our link is employed in a sale. If these wine suppliers don’t have an affiliate program in place, I should be able to point them (or anyone else) in the direction of reputable program facilitators.
